I enjoy creating with oil pastels. Teaching students how to use and experiment with them has helped me discover just how special this medium really is. Oil pastels have a richness and softness that allow for bold color, expressive marks, and subtle blending all at once. To me, they capture emotion in a direct, hands-on way—every stroke feels alive and intentional.
